GCS Pre-School

Grace Christian School Pre-School offers the 3 and 4 year old an opportunity to prepare for Kindergarten. Students will progress from introductory concepts at the 3 year old level to reading readiness activities, phonics, and math concepts for the 4 year old.

PreSchool

The preschool child is in a very important phase of life. These are crucial years when attitudes, as well as motor patterns, are formed. Preschoolers are encouraged in the following four areas: Fine Motor, Gross Motor, Language, and Social-Personal Development. At Grace Christian School we will:

Provide Christian training at a highly impressionable age.
Show the child God's love and guide the child in ways of showing that love
Help the child develop competence in problem solving.
Help Develop the child's social skills
Provide a positive school experience in preparation for Kindergarten.

*NOTE: Students may arrive as early as 7:45 am

Schedules

Three Year-old preschool meets Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30-12:00.

Using the above fee schedule, one year's tuition is $720.

Four year-old Preschool meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30-12:00.

Using the above fee schedule, One year's tuition would be $1080.

New Family Enrollment Fee

The New Family Enrollment Fee is $100 per family. The Enrollment Fee is due with the application and is non-refundable unless the family is not accepted.

Curriculum/Activity Fee

$100 per child will cover materials, art supplies, books, copies, classroom equipment and field trips.

Enrollment Process

Parents with a student already attending GCS may include their preschooler in the Re-enrollment Fee, but a separate application must be completed for the preschooler.

New families applying to GCS for the first time should follow this procedure:

     1. Fill out the Application for Admission.
     2. Return the completed Application along with the New Family Enrollment Fee to GCS.
     3. A conference will be set up with the Administrator.
     4. After the above has been completed you will be contacted regarding acceptance.

Payment Due Date & Late Charges

Payments are due on the 1st or the 15th of the month. A $25 late fee will be applied to all payments received 10 days after the due date. If payments are not made in a timely manner, the parents/guardians may be asked to withdraw their student(s) from GCS.

Attendance

The preschool program is designed for efficient use of time. Please be faithful in attendance. We are unable to prorate tuition due to attendance. Preschool will be closed if Grace Christian School is closed.

Immunizations

Please send a copy of your child's immunization records and birth certificate with your application. Your child cannot start school without proof of proper immunization and a HEALTH APPRAISAL (Green) Form that is fully completed and signed by your child's physician
